LEARN TO SKATE

A pair of skates is all it takes!

This is where everyone’s skating journey begins. As a Skate Canada club, we offer the nation’s flagship learn-to-skate program: CanSkate. CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development for skaters ages 5 years or older.

We also offer a Pre-CanSkate program for our younger skaters aged 3 & 4.

STARSKATE

Skate Canada’s mainstay of figure skating for over 40 years.

The STARSkate program offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills. Skaters can progress through a nationally standardized testing system as well as competition opportunities at the local and/or provincial level.

COMPETITIVE

Skate Canada’s Podium Pathway is Canada’s competitive figure skating program.

The Podium Pathway is for skaters wishing to compete in qualifying events towards provincial or national championships. TFSC is home to many athletes who consistently reach this level of skating including international skaters & national champions.
